Call Me A Conservative Curmudgeon

I don’t like the new Yahoo homepage. The two things I use the most seem to be gone. Of course, I’m sure if I spend my valuable time I might find them again… but WHY should I have to?

Is this progress or change for the sake of change?

    email preview and weather/temp at a glance without having to click on anything and wait for another page to load.

    Yep, I’m just that lazy.

    It’s the same reasoning that calls for talking heads on TV surrounded by endlessly-mutating graphics, lest our attention wane for the slightest instant.

    I only use yahoo for email, never for search. I liked that I could just glance at the page and tell if I had new mail and see what the outdoor temp was.
