I'm not watching anything by Moore, just like I'm not listening to Rush!! But I did read Julie Pierce's testimony to the House. I certainly wouldn't defend the actions of the insurance company. But the glaring unasked question is where was the guy's union?

Anyway, there's no evidence the insurance companies are behind the "anger" at health care reform. The protests started before the push as a response to the TARP spending and the suggestion of second stimulus bill.

I suspect the insurance companies are just like the drug companies in that they are working closely with whoever is writing this bill to make sure they get their "fair" share of the spoils. I imagine their selling point is something along the lines of "look, we know how to screw people over to save money... let us help you."

No wonder the insurance companies are behind so much of the anger at health care reform.

Right *they* are getting to make the decisions in his "logic" points 1 through 5 work -- and all for exactly the same reasons.

To see how well that's working out, watch "Sicko." Doesn't matter what your opinion of Michael Moore is. Just watch it. Or at least watch the segment about Julie Pierce's husband. Or, rather, I should say her late husband.
