And I have to say that YES, I cry when I am angry. I always blamed it on female socialization: that it is "OK" for a woman to cry, but not so OK for her to be angry. (And I have have known men who got angry when they were really sad). The worst are the tears of frustration - when I have just run out of cope, and yet one more thing is hurled at me. It happens at work sometimes and I HATE that, because I'm supposed to be the big tough cowgirl at work. I realize this is an old post – but I just ran across it.
